Your Quick Guide to Using WorkUp

1. First Launching the App

Open the app for the first time, scan the QR code given to you by your manager or system administrator (or manually enter the company link). Then sign in using the username and password you were given.

2. Clocking In and Out

From the main tab, tap "Clock In" when you start your shift, and "Clock Out" when you finish. The app verifies your location to confirm you're within the allowed work site.

A day with a late arrival appears highlighted in the calendar — tap it to see exactly how late you were and relative to what time.

3. Submitting a Request (Leave or Permission)

From the "Requests" tab, tap the add button, choose the request type (leave, permission, etc.), specify the date and reason, and submit it. You'll receive a notification as soon as your manager approves or rejects it.

4. Tracking Your Tasks

The "Tasks" tab shows everything assigned to you, sorted by deadline. Tap any task to see its details, and attach files or photos when completing it if required.

5. Notifications

Any update concerning you (request approval, a new task, a lateness alert) reaches you as an instant notification on your phone, and remains saved inside the "Notifications" tab in case you missed it when it arrived.

6. Have a Question?

Go to the "Knowledge Base" section inside the app or the empma panel and search for your question — most frequently asked questions are explained in detail there in two languages, available at any time.

If you forget your password or run into trouble logging in, contact your direct manager or your company's system administrator — they can help you or reset your account.
Using WorkUp is simpler than it looks — two minutes and you'll be fully used to it.
